Portrait of Lotte
Portrait of Lotte is a project from Frans Hofmeester. The current version shows his daughter growing up from birth in 1999 until the age of 20. It’s probably the most famous video in the children growing up timelapse genre (although in this case it’s a series of videos rather than a true timelapse). Hofmeester is doing the same thing for his son, Portrait of Vince, currently from 0 to 14 years old.
Everyday
Noah Kalina has taken a selfie every day starting on January 11, 2000. The latest version of his video shows 20 years of aging, ending January 20, 2020.
Hugo Cornellier
Hugo Cornellier also takes a daily selfie and his timelapse shows him growing up from 12 years old until his wedding at the age of 21. He plans to keep going forever. On the YouTube page for the video he says that he stabilized his face manually for each frame (Kidlapse uses machine learning to handle this chore automatically).
Danielle
Danielle by Anthony Cerniello is a little different. Cerniello took photos of his friend Danielle and her extended family and then animated them in a five minute video to show the aging process in a subtle and slightly unsettling way.
The Kidlapse Gallery is a collection of timelapses of people changing over time for inspiration. These movies were not made with Kidlapse - making this kind of movie easy is why Kidlapse was created. You can see samples of Kidlapse movies on the home page.
